The venerable Tanaka M700 platform is still arguably the best gas airsoft sniper rifle ever made. Excellent build quality, consistent performance out of the box. Simply add one of the aftermarket hop units such as Action Army (the BGS and Spartan units are very hard to find now), stick a VSR barrel and bucking in and you're good to go.
 
This particular unit, whilst also finished in a striking silver colour, also has the added benefit of being equipped with a PCS or "pre-ban" bolt. This highly desirable bolt allows users to adjust their FPS directly using a screw on the bolt, meaning you can achieve 2.3J throughout the year, using a variety of different gas types.
